Can you tell us about your journey into the world of real estate? What inspired you to specialise in this niche market, particularly in Dubai?
I have been in Real Estate since 2003, I started my career as a commercial broker helping developers finance projects, landlords refinance and business owners buy commercial property. But that ended abruptly in 2009 with the credit crunch, however it also presented me with an incredible opportunity to work with one of my biggest investors. I had refinanced his portfolio of properties in central London and when the banks pulled back on lending, we decided to set up a development fund. We did this successfully for 5 years. Before I moved into developing properties with him in central London.

Dubai’s luxury property market is seeing a growing demand for larger, private living spaces, with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) prioritizing privacy and exclusivity since the pandemic. Villas and penthouses are in high demand, especially with a shortage of quality villas. Dubai’s house prices have grown by 198% since 2003. Popular areas include Dubai Marina, Downtown, and Business Bay, though Dubai South/Expo City is emerging as a new investment hotspot.
Branded residences, offering world-class amenities and services tied to luxury hotel brands, are also trending, with HNWIs willing to pay a premium for the comfort and exclusivity they provide.
What makes Dubai stand out from other global cities is its investor-friendly environment?.
Dubai’s favorable investment climate offers zero property taxes, attractive rental yields, and long-term visa programs that provide an added layer of security for foreign investors. The introduction of Golden Visas has made it even easier for investors and their families to establish a long-term base in the UAE.
